The movie is telling a beautiful story about the different ways of being a mother. It is incredibly touching and inspiring! There was so much pain and suffering, but even more love, kindness and care for those in need. The movie felt amazingly real, even though it is not a documentary. I guess it was because of the fact the children were not actors. Choosing to show the stories of real kids from orphanage homes or from the street and "feeling" their pain makes "Mother" very emotional and one keeps on thinking about it long after leaving the cinema hall.
I am glad and thankful I had the chance to hear the story of a remarkable woman like the real Elena is through watching this movie! What she did for thousands of children in need for 15 years is definitely worth talking about and a true inspiration!
