I was so excited for this documentary to air. Finally someone was going to demystify what happened to MH370, or give us more details about it. Present the facts and dive into the investigation in a viewer friendly fashion.

It starts off pretty good, but as it progresses it goes down a rabbit hole of cringe conspiracy theories, completely detached from reality. It was so disappointing that Netflix spent so much time on this, rather than exploring the true details of what happened. I have no problem going into uncertain theories, but the theories should at least line up with the evidence we know is true.
When the "aviation journalist" Jeff goes off the rails with his Russia theory, the documentary leaves planet earth and goes into Qanon mode, topping it off with the French "journalist".
It's a great production, and therefore it is such a wasted opportunity. There are so many sane and interesting angles they could have explored, but they decided to go for the conspiracies, giving the microphone to lunatics rather than to shine light on the true story.
