What an obnoxious episode. Applejack comes off as rude, stubborn, and completely insensitive the entire time. This story shouldn't even exist-why would Rarity ask Applejack to judge the contest in the first place? They had a whole episode emphasizing how different they were! It would have made much more sense for her to invite almost any other Mane 6 character instead. And applejack doesn't even learn her lesson! She's just as rude and blunt as she was at the beginning of the episode, making the lesson and the moral useless and unlearned by the two main characters. Very useless, annoying episode.
