I'm starting to see a pattern in the type of Seinfeld I like. I find it more fun when they feature comedy that affects the relationship between two people. I loved this episode. It's an exploration of friends with benefits even before that term existed. I always wondered how they were able to maintain such a good friendship even after dating. Clearly, their relationship both meant something each other. At the end of the episode, it looks like they are official but I've already been spoiled by the wiki page that they no longer become a couple at the end of the season. Although it's everyone's desire to see TV characters hit it off with each other, I think it makes way more sense to remain the way they were for the show's dynamic to work. That being said, I felt that this episode was a good deviation from the established dynamic and showed us the unpredictable nature of Jerry and Elaine's relationship, all while maintaining the humor of it.
