If integrated within another episode, 15-20 minutes of this would've been just fine for character background purposes. And my episode rating of 6 is in no way influenced by the same sex relationship angle. I actually gave ep. 3 a 10 rating, in spite of all the homophobic hatred it received from other commentators. Ep. 3 acting, lines, mood was just beautiful, high level cinema, this was just overextended dull context which wasn't really that necessary within the number of minutes it received. There wasn't really much tension (we all expected and then saw the clicker), nor was the acting anywhere near ep.3.
