I get it that the budget doesn't allow the series to have all the scenes from the game! It made sense until this episode!!
None of the emotional scenes has the same impact as the game!
Maybe it's because we don't spend that much time with Ellie as we did in the game!
But it doesn't help that her character is kinda less likeable compared to the game version!
The rudeness of the TV version is annoying while in the game it just made Ellie cute and relatable!
I don't mean this in an offensive way but she's just not that lovely!
And the fact that they change how joel gets injured made it into a very rushed and uncreative scene! I rather if they changed the whole thing like the billy episode instead of making a worse version of it!
I decided not to watch the rest of show because that was an easy scene to get right and they didn't!! Don't want to sound like a raging fanboy but i just can't defend this one and say it was a budget issue or it was a creative choice... It was nothing but lazy!
