It's your average rom com I'd say. Nothing spectacular nor nothing too bad. Predictable? Maybe but it's a rom com so aren't they all a little like that? Gets a little better as it goes on. Good light watching for a guy watching a chick flick with a girl I guess. One thing that isn't said enough from reviews, which are possibly from Americans maybe? Anyone from within the Uk and Ireland would know...that Mathew Goode's Irish accent is not good...at all. His performance overall is fine and I do like him as an actor but this accent is nothing short of absolute butchery. My American wife asked halfway through the movie if that was a real accent in which I had to simply reply "no". FYI, the plugging in of electrical equipment from Americans in others country's does happen a lot so that's part is very realistic for sure, seen that first hand.
