I will give NCIS: Los Angeles credit for trying to stay more up to date and in the news and current than the regular NCIS is, but I feel like we had this exact kind of storyline already and it was not really anything to write home about.
This episode touched on the seriousness and very real emergence of artificial intelligence and robots and what is next, but the script never lived up to the quality of that premise. It just felt like a poorly done effort in that regard, and while it was easy to watch given how this cast is connecting this season, it is not one you will go out and rewatch any time soon.
