Love Psych with a passion. It is one of my all time favorites and comfort shows that i rewatch constantly. I have seen every episode more times than i can count with one exception... the musical. Saw it once and barely made it through. Just does not fit the show at all. If i wanted to see singing and dancing i would watch glee or high school musical or some corny nonsense like that. It just feels so forced and out of place for this show.
For me personally, i do not enjoy musical episodes of tv shows. They just scream of the actors/writers trying to impress us all with their range of talents that none of us asked to see. Thats not why im watching Psych. Thats what the theatre is for. This is a tv show about crime/mysteries. The musical just seems so out of place. Its an automatic skip on rewatches for me.
