Batman Ninja (2018)
6/10
Interested in the good visuals only, not with the story
2 February 2023
Batman, along with his allies and enemies, was thrown into feudal Japan as a result of being hit by a time machine made by Gorilla Grodd.

I saw enthusiastically Batman Ninja become a movie with a new and fresh concept. It doesn't hurt, but it feels funny and amazed. Batman Ninja is apparently produced by a Japanese studio with a Japanese voice actor. The first thing that concerns me is when looking at how the visuals are given in this film. Of course, this film has visuals like Japanese anime, as can be seen from some of the patterns and details that exist throughout the film. Then how they designed Batman and others to be Japanese is what amazes me. How does the Batman costume look different from having a purple aura. I don't blame him, but it's very strange to see. At first glance, there are scenes that remind me of the visuals in the game Basara, a game for PS2 that tells the story of the battle between feudal kingdoms. It is certain that this film looks similar to the game starting from the details and depictions of the film. In terms of story, this is indeed quite unique. The story of Batman's world as a ninja and samurai is indeed quite fun and exciting. However, I didn't get the impression that the film would feature a story with a setting and typical of samurai and ninjas. I didn't see much of how the ninja and samurai-style fighting action was supposed to happen. Instead, this film leads to a battle with the concept of a robot. It's really surprising. Moreover, there is a colony of monkeys and bats united with Batman's form. It's even more surprising.
