Let me preface by saying, I am a viewer that had never heard of Willow before stumbling upon this show. That being said, I found it entertaining. Many of the negative reviews seem to come from those who watched and loved the original and found the remake fell short.
It wasn't the best, but still a cute/fun story. At some points scenes felt dragged out and others rushed, but not bad overall! It would go from continuing on their journey and then random surprise attacks that didn't always feel necessary. It was also a little confusing how the magic worked/where the power drew from (but that may be because I didn't watch the original first), but I feel like all the characters worked well together and kept me engaged.
