A movie for our times, especially after seeing the horrific video release yesterday of Tyre Nichols. When George Got Murdered, shows a fresh perspective from the inside, & looks like a path to creating positive dialogue for unity, peace, & solutions.
Interesting choices in a well thought out Cast too. Really nice seeing some familiar faces in dramatic roles like Donny Most, who is known for the iconic sitcom Happy Days, & Montel Williams- known for his iconic talk show & Jag. And, it's nice to see new faces being introduced like Donnamarie Davis who does a great job of being the Protagonist & a being the thread being weaved throughout the story line.
The Director Terrance Tykeem really had me forgetting at times that this was a "movie", & not a documentary, because it's that smoothly dovetailed. Great job overall!! They should pick this up on more channels, & show it in schools to start a conversation. Not sure why I didn't hear about this movie on the news. It's likely to become a classic; it's a slice of life & poignant.
