I'm not convinced this is meant to be a comedy.
And either way I think a movie might be best judged by what it delivers, not what one expected.
I know George Burns is a Comedian, I used to watch Burns and Allen!
But this is more like a wholesome drama, with a touch of quirky, meant to uplift more than draw out laughter!
If you want a feel good movie without sex, violence, 20 minute car chases, and you can occasionally do without Kung Fu fighting, time travel, space aliens, vampires, teenagers...this could be the movie for you.
And if that's what you want some afternoon, or evening, I think you'll enjoy it.
