In V for Vashon: The Son, the latest generation of the family made the mistake of going on a crime spree and ending it by getting in a shootout with Steve McGarrett. Now his father, Honore, blames Steve for his own failures as a father and moves to keep his promise that McGarrett must die.
The only problem? Steve is no fool, and has international resources at hand. They know the hit man's plan before the hit man plans it himself. And so Honore Vashon goes to prison for ten years, and the patriarch of the family vows, "My turn".
