A young couple move into a mansion, a lavish house that is already occupied by a hoard of ghosts from across history.
I am not going to fall into the trap of comparing each episode with the original, British version, instead I will give it the courtesy it deserves, and see it with fresh eyes. It's definitely less subtle, I think that's fair to say.
First thing, there are quite a lot of ghosts, it's going to be interesting to see how they give any of them air time, it's pretty crowded back there.
They have definitely sexed it up a little, and I can understand why, Thorfinn, if I was haunted by him, I wouldn't find it a hardship! So far I like Trevor and Alberta, Pete is intentionally irritating.
Samantha and Jay are sweet, and I really did enjoy the way that she was given the ability to see The Ghosts, neat idea.
Fine start, 8/10.
