I enjoyed it more than I didn't like it but it was kind of empty and lame. It didn't really do anything new or go anywhere uncharted.. everything was quite predictable and the threat was hardly threatening.
For a similar experience that does more on every level, watch Blue Ruin.

It could have been way better but also could have been much much worse. If you have 2 hours spare and you've seen every other top quality "going straight" darma or Crime/revenge drama then you could do worse than watching this. Don't expect too much though.
