Warning: Spoilers
I really enjoyed this film and have seen it a number of times. If you don't take it too seriously and understand the plot (ie, a lot of reviewers missed the point where the Cobblers Arms got a bye to the final so they HAD to play the best team so the bet would stand), you might like it. Obviously being a low budget late 90s British film, the ending is predictable but the characters worked well together and having Gryff Rhys Jones on commentary brought out a lot of laughs. The film isn't as common as say, Full Monty, which is a shame, but it's a decent lighthearted film that you can watch if you're looking for something not too indepth. There's not a laugh in every scene but when they come, they are funny.
