Rodney has spent the firm's last five hundred quid on sun tan lotion, only it's the middle of winter, times are tough for Trotter's Independent Traders. Uncle Albert finds a way of making a few quid.
It's a good episode, it served to give Uncle Albert a big story, and further introduce him as a Trotter. It's memorable, it's amusing, alright it's not a classic, but it has its moments.
The opening scenes with Del ranting about Rodney's failed business venture are very funny, Rodney's evidence is also hilarious.
Loved the ending, the twist was an unexpected one. It really did work.
I like that Grandad wasn't just forgotten about, he had a few mentions, and gets another one here, credit to Buster Merryfield though, he needed no time at all to settle in, he was brilliant.
You have to love Uncle Albert, 8/10.
