Just watched episode 1 and... meh.
I love What We Do in The Shadows and adore Natasia's character, so I was really looking forward to this. She was funny in Stath Lets Flats, albeit in small bits. Her bit on Toast was only so-so.
Here, so far, her bored smirk gets boring fast. Bits and pieces are definitely funny, but the skits are never instant classics. The music video about p u s s y was funny for a a minute, but then it dragged on into a full length song that overstayed its welcome.
I was hoping that this would fill time while I await more Shadows, but I'm not impressed. I'll definitely keep watching and hope it improves. Although, I'm more likely to re-watch Toast at this point: It's infinitely funnier.
