A crisp- writing and cinematography of the original Kashmir would take you to tone and tenor of 1965 era. The quality of story telling is easily comparable to the hits like Scam 1992 , Rocket Boys and Undekhi.
When the communication was difficult and there was hardly any technology, infiltrating a spy into the neighbor country to dig out the military secrets under the surveillance of Army and ISI was a difficult subject but Zain Khan Durrani played the character so real, well supported by Prakash Raj , Harsh Chhaya and Adil Rashid . One more character the ISI Chief Zaidi , played by Dilip Shankar is also impressive. Durrani is witty and cocky but love for country made him an unsung hero.
A well researched, little more fast paced series is a binge watch and would take you to PM Lal Bahadur Shastri to Indira Gandhi era and would see the birth of RAW. Must find time to watch, 8 out of 10.
