Ignore the bad press and user reviews. This is a fully enjoyable film. The plot is not half as important as the individual scenes and the overall dystopian gestalt of the two hours you get to spend with the cast. The 50s music, the acting, and the ongoing confusion about what you are witnessing only adds to the overall discomfort you experience. This is the second Harry Styles movie I've seen in three days. I'm not familiar with his music, but he has certainly earned his title as an actor. Olivia Wilde has proven that she is a very competent director. In the past, I have delayed watching some movies based on negative reviews. I'm glad I leapt in early on this one.
