First and foremost, Vampire in the Garden is a beautifully pieces together anime. From it's stunning artwork, stellar voice acting, loveable characters, and heart wrenching plot points it's a fine watch for any fan of the genre looking for a fresh take and something new.
That said, and I'm sure I'll catch hell for this, it is not a romance. Fine and Momo do love each other, but it is very clearly a plutonic relationship. They are best friends who helped each other find their way past their respective demons and find hope in the future, not lesbians strolling around trying to find a community to accept them. And munching along the way. Think outside of a highschool mindset, romantic relationships aren't the only reason for people to share, care, and love.
