This movie is a bit all over the place but in a good way! Spoilers coming....
It starts off with a nice and dark kill and sets up anticipation for what's ahead and I'm glad they did because the story starts a bit slow setting up the subplots and characters.
After it starts though it pretty much keeps the pace up until the end with mixed in drama and some plot twists. How do you not live to hate the villains, I think they were amazing and so off the beat and path I really loved them and wish they made it for the sequel! The rebellious teen drive me a bit crazy and almost had me wishing they caught her at times and the bar duo made cliché roles 3 dimensional and relatable and I cared about them.
The couple that I now have learned are actually married felt like they couldn't get a break so I'd say that's pretty accurate when you have teens. The bartended who's been in all kinds of movies was quirky and I felt he might be in on it but I'm not sure but he was good and I really liked the dirty sheriff who was a nice twist was really good although it was hinted. I could have had some more effects and gore on screen but I think there is plenty enough especially alongside such a solid story.
