I am speechless... Not in a "this was so good that i'm speechless" way or in a "I got nothing to say about this piece of garbage movie" but just... It was so bizarre. Japanese people are so bizarre and surreal when it comes to the movie industry. I'll try my best to come up with some words for this movie. First of all, it had a japanese-style humor so either you have to watch a lot of anime or a lot of comedic japanese movies to understand the humor in this movie. I personally understood it and even chuckled a few times with one good laughter at one specific scene. The main character was pretty fun to watch, but if I had to say something bad about this movie, it would be 2 things.
1. That side story that was going on was so unnecessary with an unnecessary build up. I genuinely just did not care about that story.
2. Some scenes dragged on tooooooo long. Some scenes it worked I guess, but other scenes such as the last one dragged on way too long. Other than that, I did enjoy this little japanese gem. Definitely worth a watch if you want to watch a fun japanese comedy movie.
