Autumn in the City (2022 TV Movie)

Fight for yourself or yell about not getting the job?
18 October 2022
Warning: Spoilers
A nice change from the typical saving a pumpkin farm or family festival with pumpkin spice everything but that's about it. I liked the title and the fall backdrop and even the plot of finding yourself by getting temp jobs around the city but that ending wasn't for me. The character might be talented however just barging in and yelling at the publisher to get them to look at your illustrations that happen to be still on the table instead of in the garbage just annoys me. I've seen this in quite a few hallmark movies and there has to be a better way to do this. Maybe going with another publisher instead? The movie gave me a feeling that New York was filled with people who escaped their families because of their disapproval of their life style and all live lonely together in apartments and cafe shops. The fake fall leaves was funny when it just randomly blew out of nowhere. It's not a memorable movie and I wouldn't watch it again. There are a lot better fall movies. Also the actress always looks like she's on the verge of tears and I can't tell if I'm watching a hallmark mystery movie or the regular lighthearted movie.
