No pun intended - the introduction of the bad of the piece is ... well just amazing! The movie may have cliches, the movie may be predictable and ridiculous to some (big) degree, but it is fun to watch! This is not Karate Kid - but I reckon you could say it took some notes from it. What it did for sure (and Show'nuff): copying Bruce Lee - or paying tribuite to him. I mean it is not even subtle in its attempt to bow down to the greatness he represented.
It also is an indicator of the love Bruce Lee got from the black community. Cool music, cool fights - what more do you want? 80s vibes of the fullest one might add. There really is liking the insanity this represents or finding it annoying ... hopefully you like what you get served - it is way more fun that way - no pun intended.
