Life is a party (not)
25 September 2022
No pun intended - and also let me put this up front: suspend your disbelief and do not overthink stuff. Like the weird ending (let's call it that) - but also most of what happens in between. Because the core of the story is quite relatable. You have a woman and her female friends who try to figure out what to do next (after a break up). And after her best friend will not be available due to marriage and even more importantly being pregnant! Or in other words life.

Not that life with the other women is done or incomplete - but it may feel like that for them. There is society pressure, but there is pressure from within to achieve things. Or rather to have something - otherwise feeling not complete. So there are messages the movie tries to convey - even if most almost get destroyed by some bad jokes. The movie also has some good jokes of course - just saying. Depending on your ability to get on board with certain things, you'll like this more or less ... or not at all.
