I really love Aura Garrido and Jean Reno, but "Un Asunto Privado" is really dissapointing. I think the problem is the screenplay, which I find plain and kind of boring. When it tries to be funny, the series end up being a mediocre version of Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries.
Visually the series is gorgeous: cinematography (😍), art direction, makeup and costume design are wonderful.
Performance from Garrido is great, but I find Reno lacks something. I don't know if the role is suited for him. Some of the secondary characters are fine such Andres Velencoso's.
I hope Amazon renew with different screenwriters.
