Quintessentially Turkish and Well Acted by All Concerned
18 September 2022
I recommend Turkish dramas for anyone seeking to learn the essentials of acting. No matter how contrived the plot, both the screenplays and the actors reading the lines always deliver.

This is a typical Turkish drama that addresses the issue of family loyalty. It has a Romeo and Juliet warring-families theme, however, it is located in a smaller region of Turkey where Hodja's (local clansmen) rule.

The families relive their hurt when a clan member was thrown down a well. When the accused's daughter experiences the same fate, the town Hodja makes a decision that will unite the families forever.
