This was a fascinating doc extra on the Die Another Day Blu-ray disc chronicling the efforts of filming at an Ice Palace in Iceland, first for a ball then a car chase inside it. Of course, not all of the car action is filmed there so for a sequence in which the Aston Martin is flipped, for instance, the crew went back to Pinewood Studios in England. Also, of course, there's lots of preparation in making sure that no unforeseen injuries are committed and such. Also, of course, some of the most dangerous of stunts don't involve the actors, since we wouldn't want Pierce Brosnan to cause another delay like he did with the Hovercraft sequence filmed earlier, that's for sure! Also discussed is the obvious-CGI-visual of James Bond skydiving on ice. It's fascinating seeing the two technicians discussing how they tried to make it convincing but really, it just looks sooooo fake! Still, this was another fascinating short doc on the making of a James Bond flick on the Die Another Day disc.
