Some funny reviews on here - "too many changes to the book" - and - "faithful adaptation" for example. It's a fairly typical Marple, who as always by Joan Hickson is expertly played.

A couple more funny reviews were complaining about the background noise, 'vintagegeek' claiming "we've heard those birds in the Caribbean", and 'zombiegeek' saying "presumably it was ceiling fans". Well, the preamble to this film on IMDB mentions FROGS, quite readable text!
And as someone says, the Donald Pleasance character (Jason Rafiel) features in another story, Nemesis, though it's very odd that the Drama channel, on which we've just seen this one, had already shown Nemesis. Clearly out of order as this plot is where Rafiel becomes aware of Marple's talents!
