What a film? This really is the dawning of a new action hero franchise that the world has been crying out for.
A superbly delivered performance and directorial debut from Michael Flately. I can't wait for the sequel that has been set up in this movie.
It's a film that harkens back to the classic old spy/action movies. Has it all, great villains, a troubled hero, a fantastic supporting crew and a tantalising storyline. The female actors deliver powerful performances that should definitely be worthy of Oscar nominations. Special mention to the actor that plays the role of Vivien. Powerful, emotive performance. The settings for the film are class, and phenomenally well shot. To be honest this is the 2nd best movie this year, second only to Top Gun: maverick.
