If there's something that grinds my gears is movies still casting actors that barely even speak the language they are supposed to be native in. When the supposedly Spanish characters are interacting with each other they speak in English. No one would do that, especially not with a Spanish guy that freshly landed in the US! But for some reason no actor in this movie is Spanish. There are plenty of Spanish actors around, I don't think it would have been so hard to cast actual Spanish people.
Also, the cooking tips and recipes are a caricature of Spanish food, ridiculous.
On top of that the movie has no conflict. They like each other from the get go and that's about it.
