America's Got Talent: Qualifiers 1 (2022)
Season 17, Episode 11

The Better and More Professional Acts
10 August 2022
Tough format to move on, only top 2. Out of 11, the bottom 6 were time fillers; the Ghana tumblers, the Veronica Poodles, Lace Larrabee comic, the Salsa Dancers,Ben Lapidus the Parmesan Cheese guy, and Olegsandr Venayatov the contortionist who reminded everyone hips are ball joints. On the the top half we get Ava Swiss the teen vocalist, the NFL Players Choir and Don McMillan the engineer comic. Leaves the very professional acts Drake Milligan the CW frontman and Avery Dixon the sax player. Both were on another level than the other nine. Simon Cowell was also aggressive with the red x buzzer and criticisms, Howie less so and trying to fair and polite. Heidi and Sophie just like everything. The rear and floor projection backdrops in some cases overpowered the performer, they can dial that down to be more discrete. So, up to the votes, or producers, to decide which act moves on.
