Haunting, a fair bit claustrophobic, amazing acting on Mia Farrow's part, but the whole cast is great. The old neighbour couple, mainly the woman, is scary as, especially if you know real life "witches" like her in your own life. Oh they will come to your house uninvited and oh they will behave exactly like that.
The theme, the setting, the acting, the music, the characters and their behaviour - I believe it's one of the best movies ever made. I've seen it multiple times and I often seem to forget, that it's from 1968 - that it's "that old". It's just incredibly well made film, a true masterpiece.
