There's a few arcs in this series I really like; the exam, the yorknew city. But the chimera ant arc is probably the worst arc I've had to experience in terms of pacing in any anime ever. What is happening, we have entire episodes dedicated to a character running around and crying, not even a main character at that. The pacing screeches to such a halt that they drag moments that are minutes to entire half episodes. It's honestly impressive, but it changes this for me from an 8 to a 6. I could barely sit through the arc without falling asleep.
