Back in the day there was cheaper direct to the video store movies. Snake Eater part 3 is one of them! My wife, when she first came to the city, and got a V C R rented out the video store and started watching these nasties. Then when my wife was the girl friend she said ooo Snake Eater 3 let's rent it, for date night. Look's cheesy low budget, I replied. Well years latter I tubbed it, and yes low budget, yes cheesy, but entertaining. What stands apart from the other direct to video is the protagonist has charisma, there is cheesy action, but Snake Eater does not take it self to seriously. The 2 d characters work perfectly with the shallow script in a cheesy way. There is the T an A, with macho violence mixed on a cheap and fast budget which makes for a guilty pleasure. Well, escapism at it best. 6 stars. Not Shakespeare in the park, but I don't like Shakespeare in the park anyways!
