Unfortunately, Fred was not as litigious as the notoriously suit-happy Dizzy Mega Corporation, so he obtained no patents, copyrights or trademarks for his intellectual property. This lack of sharp lawyers on the part of Mr. Firestone is blatantly exploited by Dizzy in DONALD AND THE WHEEL, as the plagiarizing cast and crew try desperately to give their own creation--Don the Duck--full credit for inventing the wheel. Shame on them!
