21 episodes is way too long for the story they're trying to tell. It should be at least half that. The majority of the show is made up of redundant conversations that kept putting me to sleep. If I want to watch people sitting around talking for long periods of time, I can just turn on C-Span.
The character of Fatso is extremely annoying. He only cares about stealing ancient treasures or insulting the "American" benefactor of the expedition (can't take him seriously when he's just a tomb raider). It's hard to see why our main protagonist is friends with him.
But trimmed downed to three 90 minutes episodes, this could've been much more enjoyable.
