Dear Son (2018)
Mohamed Dhrif

His work represents the basic motif to see this film about a simple man , his son and the dreams about him of father, his wife and his fight for make the things fair.

The second motif to see it is the touch of Neorealism.

Not the last - the unspoken details, fundamentals, giving a beautiful portrait of parenthood.

A young man and his decision for be part of ISIS. A father trying to determine the boy return to family. And the bitter end.

No doubts, the film is only a sketch.

Not very convincing in some measure but obvious good intentioned And , against the strong feeling to deserve be better but it remains suffocated by its subject, the acting of Mohamed Dhrif is just a precious virtue in this case.
