Warning: Spoilers
I had the wonderful luck of finding the 24 episode / 4 DVD package of "Here's Lucy" sometime ago. Over 3 days I watched each included show and the DVD extras. I had not seen a "Here's Lucy" episode in a long time and it was great to see the ones i have never seen.

For those who may not have seen it orginally, it's her 4th series. ( "I Love Lucy" , "The Lucy - Desi Comedy Hour", "The Lucy Show" , this series and then her last "Life With Lucy" in 1986). "Here's Lucy" also has the recognizable opening sequence of the dancing doll, that resembles her.

Some of the shows were somewhat topical (for late 60s-early 70s TV) and very well written. No, they're not Norman Lear level but the shows are simply just "funny" while still touching on some real life things.

There are, of course, plenty of "guest stars" to see of the era and not only do they do the old "Run,it's that red-head" routine, they also do shows that they team up with her and her kids and entertain with song and dance, for a valid reason, not just 'out of nowhere.'

I have to say the only unusal episode is where Lucy, Uncle Harry, daughter Kim and her son Craig travel to an Air Force Acedemy in Colorado to see about it, for Craig.

The DVD set was well worth it to me (as well as finding it readily available fror streaming on Amazon Prime) and I give "Here's Lucy" and Lucille Ball herself 10 stars! - (END)
