Metamorphosis is entertaining as vampire movies go. The acting is good although the two 'buddy' characters( Kim and J. J) Jennifer Higham and Charlie Hollway became a little annoying after a while. Christopher Lambert (Constantine Thurzo was the best thing about the movie while the two leads, Corey Sevier (Keith) and Irena Violette, present-day Irena A Hoffman (Elizabeth Bathory) were fine as the rest of the cast. The story was interesting until the end when it kind of derailed. The scenery and locations were nice to look at, adding atmosphere to the film. Also focusing on Countess Elizabeth Bathory and her daughter was a nice change from Dracula, so it gave the film a nice twist from the usual vampire tale.
Other than this, there was nothing to really distinguish this from most vampire movies. This is a mostly for those that like a nice-looking movie and for fans of Christopher Lambert.
