Ryan Guzman's Acting is Incredible

This episode definitely had some issues, I really think they should have spent more time on Eddie and honestly no time on Lucy and Jonah. I don't see what those two add to the show especially since Chim is back and Eddie will most likely be back by the end of the season. Nothing about Lucy and Jonah has really intrigued me and I hope their screen time lessens in future episodes. I also absolutely hate the whole Buck/Taylor storyline. Just end the relationship already. It just eats up screentime and I couldn't care less about Taylor Kelly. They completely changed her character and their relationship is so boring. Also breaking up Chimney and Maddie upsets me but they clearly still love each other so I'm going to hold out hope that they will get back together.

I feel like they should have spent more time on Eddie because there was not much build up to the absolutely incredible end scenes. They could have shown why Eddie finally decided to go to therapy when he was super anti getting help, they could have shown Eddie having his break down, they could have shown how Buck comforted him enough to get him out of his trashed room, and they could have ended the episode much better instead of just suddenly in the middle of their conversation.

The reason I gave this episode 9 stars is because of the last scenes and Ryan Guzman's performance. I absolutely love that the writers are actually having him confront his trauma and hopefully start the process to heal from it. I think it is very important for shows to focus on mental health as so many people deal with it everyday. I love that Buck was able to be there for both Chris and Eddie. He really feels like Christopher's dad, as he treats him exactly like Eddie does and I think that is so important. And to see Eddie finally stop repressing his feelings and actually trust Buck enough to let him see him when he is vulnerable is so important for his development. Ryan's performance in those scenes was so incredible and I cannot wait to see what he does next.
