Firstly, only one episode had aired and the show already got downvoted to hell. I've got to admit that I was quite skeptical of another MCU series, after how Loki and Wanda Vision turned out. The early reviews on here nearly drove me away from giving Moonknight a shot and that's a shame.
Some people complained that it isn't dark and gritty enough for them and they expected more of a Punisher / Daredevil kind of show. I'm glad it didn't go down that route and is incorporating humorous elements as well. Without giving to much away, in the second episode things are definitely heating up and we learn a lot about Steven's inner conflict and the overall story. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait for more episodes. I love the ancient egypt theme and in my opinion it brings something totally new to the MCU table. I'm no Marvel fanboy at all and have been very disappointed with the direction the MCU has taken lately but Moonknight is worth your time.
