Alice (Keke Palmer)is a slave on a plantation in Georgia. After an altercation with the master, she manages to run away and suddenly we discover the film is a rip off of "The Village" who had "Alice" as its main character too.
The production seemed to suffer from direction and message. Getting direction from Pam Grier movies leaves much to be desired.
