Presented in two hour long parts, this dud would have been much better served as a one hour, Investigation Discovery type show. There were sooo many interviews that seemed unnecessary. Tragic story but like many others have stated in their reviews, the bottom line is it became boring early on and never recovered. I kept waiting for something significant to happen which would warrant a 2 hour HBO Documentary and thought that it occurred when the guy escaped from prison, but that too was uneventful and the director didn't even follow up with what the outcome of that was? Odd show - so many better ones on ID.
