I am always a little suspect about watching a film, that has poster art, that seems to come straight from Star Wars or Star Trek, but for once, I was not disappointed.
I find that these films usually lack the world building and the special FXs, to make them worth while. I often find myself, an hour into the film, and I am wondering, where is all the cool stuff from the poster art.
This film however, seriously delivers. It is packed full of a multitude of alien species, the pace is fast, as it takes you from planet to planet, to many original exotic locations and delivers tons of action, in terms of space ship battles and live action laser blaster battles.
I thoroughly enjoyed this film from start to finish, as it propelled me into an original galactic world, as colorful as any Star Wars or Star Trek film.
Anyone is a fan of the swashbuckling space adventure, should enjoy this, I certainly did.
