He surely could act and he could sing but to get the Trifecta he missed dancing his way through films

THC provides a very deep dive and personal look into the entire life of actor Tab Hunter (born Arthur Andrew Gelien) from his teenage years as a young film star and music heartthrob through to his 80's, and his chiseled good looks and boyish charm held up superbly still into his 80's. Tab Hunter talks about both the highs and the lows in his forty (40) plus year film career. He loved his mother and his older brother who both helped him gain confidence and pride in the work he was doing as both an actor and as a very successful singer.

There are a number of celebrities who provide insight into the gentleman Tab Hunter was and special thanks must be extended to Debbie Reynolds and Liz Torres (and many others) who provided their own personal insights and cute stories of the man Tab Hunter was.

I can appreciate that in a 90 minute documentary the producers/director can only scratch the surface of Tab Hunter's illustrious career especially with some of his later roles which other film stars would have turned down in disgust. But not Tab Hunter he threw caution to the wind said yes to the dress (ceremoniously after coming out of the closet) and ended up resurrecting his career once again.

It's an interesting documentary and I felt like I got to know the man, the actor, the singer and especially the humane being who loved horses, and I am a better informed person as of a result of Tab Hunter Confidential. Well done! I give this an 9 out of 10 IMDB rating.
