First let me say I did like this. After being fed an overwhelming diet of world smashing super heros for the last 15 years I am getting close to saturation. Anything that departs from the Disney family fluff MCU gets us off the treadmill and this one departs quite a bit. No family fluff hear and I think his absurd sidekick may be unique. The one complaint I have is the movie PM is a bit comical and clearly heavier on brawn than brains but on the small screen he is more obviously quite immature and basically kind of dense. Like pretty much the least intelligent super hero/villain we have been offered except for maybe some animal based ones. I think they pushed that aspect a bit too hard. I am only a couple episodes into it so hoping the writing evolves a bit but it might take until season two. Cena does look like the character should and doesn't need a padded suit to pull it off though.
