Actually a sweet, goofy film!

Warning: Spoilers
I'm a Martin Milner fan, and hunted this film down for that reason. Reviewers have called this schlocky, and I can see what they mean. Mickey Rooney I find can be rather crude, and with all the sultry women listed I was afraid this was going to go soft-porn. A few lines like the Baby Sex comment had me wanting to wash my hands clean, but aside from those the movie never got too racy. Paul Anka provides a fun song, I have no idea why Mel Torme is there, Tuesday Weld is always pretty but doesn't do much. Mamie Van Doren and Martin Milner look quite mismatched but are sweet together. Martin Milner as Adam spends the entire time running after his wife, a laudable and honorable endeavor after all. The bit of scholarly detail naming Lilith, and the little subtext of Eve wishing God would speak directly to her, then at the end realizing pregnancy, is quite touching.

Also for all the sexy women in the film, it's a hoot to see that the only one constantly underdressed is Martin Milner, not a bad thing. He plays Adam innocently goofy, probably the only way to make this movie work!
